Oh wow. When I had my confirmation we had it catered. Then again our summer cottage doesnt have the facilities to cater to any more than 10 people! I hope you had some help cooking and cleaning up. *huggles*

We were 36 for lunch yesterday, so we went to a restaurant. They did a marvelous job. Then I had about 20 of those guests at my house for coffee and cake. All the cakes were store bought, though, I just did the whipped cream myself

This morning we were 25 people for a Bavarian brunch. We had sausages and a Bavarian type meatloaf and smoked char (a local river fish) and potato salad and different types of cheese and bread - all of this I got from the different specialty stores. The most work was washing and cutting up stuff for a veggie tray. And then we had the leftover cake from yesterday.



Do you have to keep talking about all the food you had while I had to hide in the forest?

At least you got all the leftovers. I didn't hear you complain when you finished off the five Wiener Schnitzels we brought back from the restaurant yesterday.



It's the least you could do after I missed out on all the company.

Quite frankly, I don't think all my aunts and uncles and cousins would have been very taken with your table manners.



You know I hate to stick something pointy into my mouth.

Don't worry, I don't mind you eating with your hands. In fact, I love watching him do it. That reminds me - there's some chocolate mousse cake and half a bowl of whipped cream left over. Why don't you help yourself to some of that?
