Not wanting to throw cold water on this party here, but didn't JM say the movie would have to be rewritten if the SGA characters appeared in SGU? That doesn't sound like good news to me. I can't remember the exact quote though.

Not really.... the movie can come out in 2011 but still take place before SGU began.. it doesnt have to be rewritten.

Not necessarily - it does not mean a whole new story has to be written, it may just need to be tweeked. If this movie ever does get the greenlight I would hope that they go back and rework it a little bit because it has been over a year since it was written. If they were just to pick it up and dust it off and shoot it I think that would be a disservice to SGA.

Well, that depends on whether Atlantis goes back to Pegasus in the movie, which is an assumption on my part I know, but I'd be very surprised if it didn't.
