Here is the list of advertisers with the contact information that I found for them, I did learn something I did not know. GE must own part of NBC/Universial they have contacts listed.

Indeed they do. They own a lot of it, if memory serves from the Save Studio 60 Campaign. GE is definitely the power base of NBC.

MGM is such abig company. Stargate isn't their only trouble.
Making new shows it seems it costs less. New cast=cheaper cast. Atlantis movies = easy money.
Maybe they're making cheaper things all around. Looking for ways to save money.
I wish they sell Stargate to someone else so it could keep on for another 5 years ....
They could make money this way to..

I'm writing to you to express my appreciation for your support of the show “Stargate Atlantis”. This quality show has a passionate fan base who watch the shows when they are aired, tape them, talk to their friends about them, and will gladly buy products from sponsors that are smart enough to sponsor it.

Unfortunately, SCIFI has decided to cancel “Stargate Atlantis” after the current season concludes. To say that the fans are outraged would be an understatement. The ratings were up and the show was receiving critical acclaim and awards. The SCIFI channel, which airs very few original science fiction shows, is now canceling their best one.

MGM, which produces Stargate, and SCIFI have plans for a new series entitled “Stargate Universe”. They think that the fans will automatically move like lemmings to the new show. Many, if not most, of the fans are totally uninterested in this new show. After giving our loyalty and support to “Stargate Atlantis”, there is a sense of betrayal and a feeling that we are not willing to risk our hearts and minds on a new show, just to watch it get canceled. They've alienated a huge portion of their previously loyal audience.

Again, thank you for your support of “Stargate Atlantis”. After the season ends, I urge you to find another high quality show on another network and give your advertising dollars to them.
