I would bought Jonus there so he can become his own charater and not just a Daniel clone, and put the real Dr. Weir, not the new one, but Jessica Steen.

OK, spoiler warning added. I would like to see Jonas appear in Atlantis as well, but I think we should see how Torri Higginson does as Dr. Weir before we choose between the two.

The other thread is called The Team and yes, it's pretty much like this one. However, the original post never specified characters or actors, all it said was "who would you put on the team" which is partly why it diverged into actors rather than sticking strictly to characters.

There's also the issue of limiting things to ONLY those seen on SG-1. Atlantis can hardly become unique if all it ever has is castoffs from the main series.

That being said, my fave castoff is still Jonas and I think it's borderline criminal that he wasn't included in Atlantis. And don't tell me "it wouldn't have worked story-wise". Given some of the last minute hack jobs TPTB have spit out, I think they would have been perfectly capable of finding a logical reason to include Jonas in Atlantis... IF they wanted to.

I've merged the 2 threads because they're basically exactly the same topic. And I would have loved to have seen Jonas on Atlantis but I'm not holding my breath. Or maybe Alec Baldwin's character for absolutely no reason other than that I think he's completely drool-worthy. What can I say? I'm feeling shallow today.

Well, I'm not going to comment on Adam's attractiveness, but he is in 3 of my favourtie tv shows (SG-1, Angel, Firefly) so he gets loads of cred for that!

Doug Hutchison would be cool in a guest appearance. I dunno if he's really "team" material, though, unless he's the strange teammate who ultimately ends up betraying his species and trying to get his teammates killed by joining the bad guys.
