    Calling All Australians?

    Just sending out the word for all the Aussies to check in! Anyone from Brisbane here? Favourite eps, talk about anything Aussie or SG-1 related!

        Yay for all of us!

        If one of us Aussies wins, we have to post the experience here at Gateworld - or even see if Darren wants to host a write-up about it.

        It WILL be someone from this forum. I can feel it in my nintendos....

        But it's out of our hands now...the competition was drawn today.

        So anyway, don't you all think Channel 7 is THE WORST provider of Stargate in the world?

        They are so crap.

        Who ever thought that airing seasons HALF AT A TIME was a good idea??

        It's crazy!

        I wonder how many other Australian fans hang around here...I get the impression the show isn't as popular here. But maybe it's just that a lot of U.S. and U.K. fans hang around here at Gateworld.

                Yeah, but Sci-Fi is fully behind Stargate. Plus you guys get 4 episodes on a Monday night and repeats during the week. What do we poor Aussies get? One episode a week on a Thursday night at 9-30pm! Plus SG-1 gets the shaft if there is some ******** special like "Celebrities Uncensored Part 26" that they want to put on.

                    It's not the same though.

                    Here, they will air Part 2 of season 6, then part one of Season 7 all in one block (as if it was a full season). Then they will wait a year, and air the second half of Season 7 and the first half of Season 8 (which is what we are waiting on now).

                    And if that isn't weird enough, they can't even divide 22 by 2 because they didn't air the whole first half of season 7 but stopped with Space Race (from memory).

                    So if I didn't come online, I wouldn't even realise they were doing this and think the seasons were very 'cohesive', for lack of a better word.

                      Ha ha ha, cohesive lol. That word will never apply to 7. The last ep we had here in SA was 621 Prophecy, we still haven't even finished season 6, that really sucks, 7 will start airing it soon, by 'soon' I mean sometime down the track, but then they will be covering the opympics, provided it's back on by then, so it will may be off for another two weeks, then in summer they will have the tennis and then we will miss another month or so.

                      Something really needs to be done, maybe I should give them a taste of my shoe?

                        I'm from Sydney Australia. I gave up on Channel 7 for stargate along time ago. infact i gave up on Free to air Tv for Sci fi along time ago. on a more positive note, TV1 (Foxtel) is showing Season 5 now, Enemies Starts on June 6th, season 4 Chain Reaction (i think) is on Saturday.
