So anyone one doing my challenge.

I've started.
Got a basic sketch done and have started doing some of the modeling.
Once I have more modeled I'll do a render.

The Third Challenge

The Third Challenge is going to be a Military Bomber. It is an all purpose bomber that is capable of space travel as well as operation in an atmosphere. There are no requirements as for the size, weight, or power of this vessel but no FanWank. This requires you to model a ship, and present detailed specs of that ship upon the deadline. As usual the base rule is only using the Stargate technology that is currently in the show. I must be in on the deadline date no late entries (killman). The deadline is going to be on January 5th 2009 Midnight EST. If you have questions please ask them.

-Other - No specs were posted so no details were known about the ship. The competition was for a bomber ship, you make a small cruiser ship. The technology was no more past real Travelers technology. Presentation of the ship could of been better, orthos and a hero shot would of been fine for the competition. The ship looks original to the race, not an ancient ship with a Traveler sticker slapped on. The style could of used a little more finishing work. The model itself is great.

-Other - Simple and easy specs. Ship use was more of a missile/torpedo ship than a bomber, but in the end it works out the same. Can go without the Asgard beams since it is just suppose to be a bomber. Presentation was great, good orthos shops and hero renders. More original ship. It could be switched into the BSG universe, but it can also fit into the Stargate universe which is a plus. Style is great.

-Other - Fairly simple ship specs. Good use of weapons as a bomber. Stargate tech might be a little off, with the duo hyper drives but that is still possible since Prometheus had the same thing. Great presentation. Very original and practical. Very stylish but still within the realm of the Stargate universe.

-Other - Good ship specs. The ship fit its description and role. It's an ancient ship, why not make its "bombs" drones. It uses real Stargate tech, nothing is out of the ordinary or too farfetched. Presentation was amazing. Provided orthos shots and hero shots with a story to them. Top notch on originality and great style that matches the show.

-Other - The specs seem a bit off compared to the ship. There seems to be quite a few weapons and power generators too big for the ship. The ship use is great, but seems a bit overpowered to fit the role of a bomber. The tech is ok and nothing seems too out of the ordinary. Great presentation. Seems like a pelican from Halo in the Stargate universe, but still a great model.

Wow.. that was close between RJB and Finger. RJB was first with 76 points, finger 2nd with 75. Very, very close one. I seem to have been 3rd with 70 points.

Well, nevertheless, good job lads!

Btw, I intend to revise my ship later. There are some things I want to reconfigure. After that the ship is really ready for action.
