                        I did like Predestination, although that reaction might have been predestined since I'm a big Heinlein fan. If you've read the story it's based on, "All You Zombies," there are no surprises. If you haven't, try to stay spoiler-free if possible and you might like it. Sarah Snook's performance is reason enough to see it.

                            Somehow I managed to miss seeing "Scanners (1981)". I am sure it was on my 2 do list in the 80s, but have not seen it doing rounds of TV till now when it popped up on 80's nostalgia festival theme. Wonder why shown so little - not the best but not the worst scifi I have seen (sharknado - I am thinking of you!).

                              I'm pretty sure I've never seen Scanners either, although I know I've seen certain parts of it. I have seen and liked quite a few of Cronenberg's other films.
