            That whole prejudice thing is SO UST.

            Can they, like, fight? Sadly it would take Edward and Jacob fighting, tearing each other to shreds, for Bella to realize what an idiot she is. But at least then they'd both be out of the misery that is dealing with her!

              You're kidding, right? Bella realize she's an idiot? Not gonna happen. However, if they did fight I bet she'd feel a lot of angst and guilt about it, knowing she was responsible and that they were fighting over her.

              But hey, I'd have said that some of the best slashfics probably involve a fight, right? Isn't it a staple in the "mortal enemies" brand of slash? Jack/Baal, Doctor/Master, Mulder/Krycek, etc. Can't say I've ever read any, but if I were writing one I know I'd definitely include a fight that turned into something else.

                  Both of them have that whole bitey thing going on, both have to be unduly frustrated (in multiple ways) from Bella's idiocy, there's the whole longstanding vamp vs. were rivalry to stir the blood (among other things)...
