Jonathan Nolan Maybe, Person of Interest is awesome, id like to see how he faired with Space Opera, although I do tend to agree that Ronald D Moore would be the perfect choice for a remake of Blake 7
Speaking of remakes is Syfy's Blake 7 dead? Wiki still has it listed as an upcoming show for syfy

Well Christopher Nolan did Interstellar and that came out alright.

It seems it's dead. Nolan made Interstellar but it'a a very, very different thing from Blake's 7. For example i love Roddenberry's work in star trek but i think he would be completely the wrong person for Blake's 7.
British writer Tanith Lee passed away on Sunday May 24th, aged 67.
Lee was the author of over 90 books and 300 short stories, as well as four BBC Radio plays, and two highly-regarded episodes of the BBC’s SF series Blake’s 7 (Sand and Sarcophagus). She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the World Fantasy Convention in Brighton in 2013 and the Horror Writers Lifetime Achievement Award this year, which joined her British Fantasy Award from 1980 for Death’s Master, and her World Fantasy Award for her short story “The Gorgon”.
Her work spanned many genres, including science fiction, fantasy horror and crime, but her preoccupation, she maintained, was always people.
Tributes have started to appear on social media with Guy Gavriel Kay noting that “We’ve just lost someone I greatly admired as a person & writer,” and many agreeing with Jonathan Strahan’s comment that “she was, simply, remarkable.”
There has been an announcement about Hermit.org. The fiction library is being transferred to AO3, and talks are underway for the Sevencyclopedia etc to be transferred to Horizon. Then Hermit will close down.
Somebody once did some calculations and estimated the Liberator to be approx 200 metres (660 ft) without the antennae or 230 metres (759 ft) including the antennae.
Opinion is divided as to whether the interior mainly consists of the drive system, auto repair system, weaponry etc with little in the way of crew quarters, or if there is more living space that we don't get to see. Certainly Michael Keating was of the opinion that there were only four bedrooms! Blake had one, Avon had one, Jenna & Cally shared and Vila had to bunk down with Gan. Not canon obviously!
I do have a non-canon floor plan - https://farm1.staticflickr.com/360/1...a818d00f_b.jpg. I can't remember where I got it from now, and I can't be certain of it's accuracy. Personally I think the flight deck should be closer to the outer hull, as in Space Fall Blake, Avon & Jenna managed to get from the entry hatch to the flight deck in a matter of seconds.
Here's a first look at the cover of Mediasphere, our next Blake's 7 book – available in August!

Sounds a bit like "The Long Game" but interesting enough too....
Of those my favourites are The Forgotten, Archangel and Criminal Intent.
Also on sale is Paul Darrow's autobiography, You're Him Aren't You? also for £5. I found that one to be a very enjoyable read. He has lots of fun anecdotes about his life and career.
"Populated by familiar names and productions, You're Him, Aren't You? is Paul's own story of his life and career. It tells of his association with Blake's 7 - how he was cast, his experiences of making the show, what has happened since and his memories of Terry Nation, the cast and the crew. It also tells of his childhood, his time playing Elvis Presley and his near miss with James Bond."
