Lex Gigeroff's original pitch for Lexx season 2

Good thing the other producers stepped in. You can see where the final episodes formed from though, and it's good to see that the Heaven and Hell premise of season 3 was with them since the preproduction of season 2.

Jumping in here, I LOVE Lexx as well, one of my most favorite guilty pleasures, I have all the original DVD's, definitely an acquired taste and not for most people. To me it's like Farscape's evil hillbilly cousin--rude, crude, lewd, sick, twisted and sadistic (among other things!), stuff I love and greatly appreciate. Yet the show also contains a bunch of really great concepts, and I love how each season is different from each other; the whole Fire & Water arc of season 3 was outstanding...not to mention that shower scene in "Gametown.

I liked both Eva and Xenia, though I really liked Xenia when she became Xevelina Jolie in season 2.

One random thought: The concept behind the Mantrid drones is even older than that. Look up Von Newman machines, which are self-replicating devices. Arthur C. Clarke used that concept in his novel 2010, where he had the monolith replicate itself inside Jupiter, building up enough mass to collapse the planet into a star.

Welcome to the thread! Critics called Lexx Star Trek’s evil cousin at the time. Yes it’s a guilty pleasure and an acquitted taste. Ah yes the shower scene in Gametown.... A bit much. Poor Xev getting all jealous with Kai cleaning a young woman called Bunny and of course without any emotion since the dead cannot feel anything.

Nicely said Zev did become (Xenia) Xevelina Jolie. Rather more is S3 with her really long blond hair. I’ve said it before but I found her lips really distracting. Great actrice but those lips… Sometimes the camera did focus of those luscious lips. See ep Lafftrack…

Oh. I didn’t know that about that authors novel.

If you've seen AJ in the "Gone In 60 Seconds" movie remake (the one with Nicolas Cage) where she has blonde hair, she and Xenia really does look much like Xenia (or vice versa). I actually do find AJ to be very hot, so I didn't mind having a look-alike in Lexx.

Another thing that greatly pleased the astronomer/astrophysicist in me was how the Light universe was destroyed, by bringing all of Mantrid's drone arms (which are now the sum total of the mass in the universe) to one spot, bringing on a reverse Big Bang (AKA "Big Crunch"). That's a pretty heady concept, straight out of the "hard" SF genre, and way cool for a show like this.

One of my favorite episodes of any show is "791" from the first season. I had thought Farscape's "Crackers Don't Matter" was dark, but wow, "791" takes dark and twisted to a whole new level. Poor Stan!

Ah yes S2 ep 791... Poor Stan forced to dance for this psycho cyborg and almost getting assaulted... Kai came to the rescue again. Poor 790 he really didn't want the impulses his new temporary new body had. The ep is sort of a homage to the movie alien in a twisted way.

have we seen this? Lexx Lego I was at Lego store and found a bunch of SW Lego (I was so in love with the giant size Darth Vader Lego ) I wish I had stopped and gotten me some Lexx lego mini figures. They let us build our own.

I just watched Bad Carrot. It still makes me laugh just like I watched it for the first time.
