Overall would probably be
1. Stargate
2. Supernatural
3. Buffy/Angel
and the list order would change frequently depending on what mood I'm in, it would also include Torchwood, Numb3rs, Lost, Bones, Nip/Tuck...
I have to add Dexter to the list. I just bought season One on DVD and am incredibly impressed. It's gripping, funny, intense, well written and brilliantly acted. God, I LOVE this show!!!!!
out of things that are actually showing now (first run, not between seasons) and being shown on tv stations that i can access
Heroes
Smallville
Scrubs

Disclaimer:
I have been using this username since 1998, it has no connection to "The Last Airbender", or James Cameron's movie. Quotes!
- "Things will not calm down, Daniel Jackson, they will in fact calm up!"
- "I hope you like Guinness Sir, I find it a refreshing alternative to... food"
- "I'm Beginning to regret staying up late to watch "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo" last night... Check that, i regretted it almost immediately"
Whether or not I switch Galactica out for SGA will depend on how they handle season 4. I'm hoping I'll be less able to make this decision easily when the new scifi/fantasys series debut. Hopefully they challenge my list.
"You know what would make a good story? Something about a clown who makes people happy, but inside he's real sad. Also, he has severe diarrhea." - Jack Handy
Right now? This year? Recently? Here's mine based on UK schedules:
Recently:
Life on Mars
Torchwood
Stargate SG1 season 10
This year:
Dr Who
Lost
Primeval
Right now:
Medium
Heroes
Gray's Anatomy
3 shows that are my guilty little secrets and I don't normally let people know I watch them but I just can't stop myself because I do actually enjoy them...
Bones, Doctor Who, Torchwood, CSI, 24, Supernatural and NCIS are also brilliant, but for me those 3 shows are the best there is. I love the science and humour in Eureka, Heroes is just so well done I can't express it in words and Dexter was a fantastic idea for a show and really well done.
