I miss SG1 terribly, and SGA has lost a lot of steam. I'll watch SGA's next season our of curiosity, but I'm gonna need a high "wow" factor to keep it going for me.

Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica are the two shows that I schedule my life around. I do NOT miss watching them at the proper time. Except last night's Who. Had to record cause it was the only oppertunity to go to OotP. Everything else I will record if I have to. *sigh* Love being obsessive.

As for LOST and Battlestar, the tv series LOST got very silly, lost had a good cast but "Lost" just as lost as the people on the jungle island with polar bears. The cloud of black some that ate Eko was silly, LOST flashbacks bug me as well especially when they keep showing the same ones just to fill out the show. Every time a show changes for the worse, they lose viewers. A lot of people are not happy with the soap opera that took over the Battlestar show, or the Jihad war parallels, the writing has got worse and RDM forgot about his cylon plan. The Starpollo drama went out of control and bsg started taking itself way too seriously, give us Benedict's one-dimensional acting and corney dagits over this depressing Starpollo soap opera anyday.

Don't waste your time on either of these over-rated shows that have long since jumped the shark.

BSG cannot have jumped the shark when the shows official end is next season. You only jump the shark when you start going downhill with no direction at all. At least BSG has a finishing point.

You say 24 had a bad season yet still say it is good. 24 has sucked since its inception in my opinion, while BSG has had a lackluster season. As far as I'm concerned BSG is still one of the best shows on TV, even in lackluster form.
