Reading the Star Trek: Vulcan's Soul trilogy, "Exodus", "Exiles", and "Epiphanies" by Josepha Sherman and Susan Shwartz.

If I'm being brutally honest, they're not particularly good.

Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Just started On Unfaithful Wings (An Icarus Fell Novel), reminds me of Piers Anthony's On A Pale Horse.....only about 20% through, we'll see if it's as good.

Currently reading "Framework" from the Spinward Fringe books by Randolph Lalonde. Really enjoying it so far and the book has been a long time coming.

I'm re-reading the Subjugation series, as the author is currently writing a new book in the series, which may be the last one. Or at least the last one currently planned. It is a really great story worth reading, although I must warn it does have some adult scenes with a little bit of explicit imagery. It is a sci-fi series that Stargate fans might particularly find interesting since it has, not only stargates, but also the element of bringing some of Earth mythology into a 'modern day' sci-fi bent. Particularly the legends of the Elves, and in part Werewolves.

I might be a little interested in reading it if I actually knew the name of the author and books.

The name of the author is Fel (aka James Galloway). The name of the books are Subjugation, Unification, Tribulation, and the latest Succession. He has another very popular series called the Firestaff Series (a fantasy series).

You can get all these books for free at http://forums.sennadar.com/index.php

The books don't exist as paperback or hardback. Just in digital format.
