We were really rallying (on the jim-butcher forum) to save that show too. Sci Fi just kept putting off their decision. Then the reason they gave was that Blackthorne had taken another role. Yeah because they kept putting off a decision untill he had to either take that role or pass it up and hope they renewed TDF.

Sortta like what they did to the actors and actresses in Charmed before season 8 started. I really liked Dresden Files...I hope they can save the show.

Unlikely. It's long gone. It was cancelled over a year ago.

The books are good. I've read most of them. I liked the slightly different take on things that the TV show took though.

If you're talking about Storm Front that's pretty much the pinacle. They're all good, but that was definentlly the best of all his books.

Some hippy in a comic book store actually recommended them to me a few years before the series, but from his description I wasn't that interested. It didn't come together in my mind untill I was part way into the series.
