Alien is a good scifi horror film, but realistically, can only be watched a couple of times. Once you get past all the surprises I'm not certain there's really much left worth watching over and over. I watched Aliens first and was just bored watching both Alien and Alien 3 afterwards. Aliens was going on the best roller coast ride ever made, and in comparison, Alien and Alien 3 was like riding on a kids merry go round.

To be fair, Alien was all about suspense and atmosphere. It wasn't meant to be an action film. However, I'll agree with you on Alien 3. The film was too focused on emotional brooding.Comment
