    I think that he's just happy to take a break from making epics and blockbusters...

    I don't think he or Universal really believed that Kong would be as popular and widely received as LOTR...

      Has anyone seen the book WETA produced to accompany the movie? It's like a Natural history of Skull Island, full of gorgeous illustrations of the various creatures and so on.
