Maybe you could email these people as they are the official suppliers
Scificollector have now released an image of the upcoming Torchwood Captain Jack figure. Captain Jack will join a Weevil, the Cyberwoman and Gwen Cooper in a figure set that will go on sale later this year at the price of £35.95. Scificollector also have plans to release figures of the Blowfish, Ianto Jones, Owen Harper, Toshiko Sato and Captain John Hart.

Looks like Jack's "outfit" from They Keep Killing Suzie.

To be honest I prefer the long coat version from the new Dr Who set. I think it's much better.

Barrowman to Return to Torchwood Mini-Series
      By John Scott Lewinski
      June 07, 2008 | 4:19:40

Following up on a report here earlier this week, Torchwood will indeed be returning for a third, but very brief, season with series star John Barrowman (pictured) in command.

But, executive producer Julie Gardner announced that the third season will include just five episodes -- most likely to air all in one week as an event mini-series. In keeping with that event label, Torchwood will graduate up to flagship network BBC1.

Gardner claims the move was made in an attempt to make a huge media splash with the show's third season. The decision to cut down production to just this special event echoes what Torchwood's original inspiration, Doctor Who, is doing on BBC1 in 2009. Who will be taking a partial hiatus, producing a set of specials to air sporadically during the year, before returning for a full series under new showrunner Steven Moffatt in 2010.

            season 3 spoilers

The Torchwood Magazine states on its Facebook page:

            Spoiler:
Torchwood executive producer Julie Gardner has confirmed that a third series of Torchwood will start filming in August. The new series will comprise one continuous story told over five one-hour episodes on BBC1, with episodes by Russell T Davies and other as yet unnamed writers. Though our new issue had just gone to press just before the new series was announced, we got straight on the phone to Julie, who told us:

So RTD stays for season 3

“As you know, plans for a third series have been underway for a long time, and we now have a new producer and a new director in place, as well as brand new scripts all ready to go. It’s the longest and most ambitious story we have ever made, so be prepared for some shocks and surprises! Life at Torchwood is never quiet or easy, and the whole of Captain Jack's world is about to be turned upside down!”

Frankly, I don't know how I feel about that. Hope it will be awesome.

When I read that there will be only 5 episodes next year of Torchwood, I felt like crying. Only two or three Doctor Who specials and not four and only a mini series of five episodes and not eleven...this totally sucks

spoilers for the end of series 4 of Doctor Who - episode "Turn Left" [but only the trailer I promise]
                      Spoiler:

Have you noticed that Donna is wearing what looks like Captain Jack's greatcoat [which is really too big for her] in the scene she's being escorted by UNIT soldiers?

So do you think we're gonna see our favourite Captain in the next episode?

                      Edited to add screencaps.

Official confirmation of season 3 - finaly

Here's the news from the official Torchwood website that non-UK people can't access:

                          Spoiler:
Julie Gardner has confirmed that a third series of Torchwood has been commissioned and that it will be unlike anything we have seen before!

Not only will the series air on BBC One, Torchwood will have a brand new format. The series will consist of just one continuous story, delivered over 5 consecutive nights.

That's not the only thing that will be new about the series - Torchwood will have a brand new producer, Peter Bennett, who has previously worked on Torchwood and on Doctor Who as well as 'The Mummy', 'A View to a Kill' and 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'. Euros Lyn will also join the team as Director. Euros has directed several Doctor Who episodes including the 'Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead' two-part story from the current series.

And just to add to the excitement, the show will boast some new arrivals in the cast as well...

Julie Gardner says that she and Russell T Davies "are thrilled to be bringing Torchwood back for a third series. The new series promises to be a gripping and surprising TV event and we're certain the audience will love the team's exciting, roller-coaster adventures."

                            John Barrowman rocks my world

                            Excerpt:

I know something you don't know. I know something you don't know. And maybe you'll only care if you care about Torchwood. Which you should. So there.

I just had the undiluted pleasure of interviewing that hot piece of actor, John Barrowman aka Captain Jack. I had read that the third season of Torchwood was going to be only five episodes and was wondering why. Well, the reason is the show, which started on BBC3, and then got promoted to BBC2, is now going to BBC1 and they want to start there with a splash and give the move a greater impact. "But if we come back for series four, it will be ten episodes."

So the lucky British will get a week (or Monday-Friday at any rate) of Torchwood in one swoop. We here in the colonies, will get the second season starting in August on Space.

You can read my interview with Barrowman in Saturday's[ June 21] paper, but in the meantime, here are some completely random questions.

What's a common misconception about you?

That I'm overly confident.... That everything always goes my way. It doesn't.

What's the first movie you remember seeing?
The one that pops into my mind is The Junglebook.
