More OT stuff

My puking started in the ER - was the only thing which helped against the cramps. In the morning nothing helped at all, but all tests weren't proficient enough to prove my appendicitis. I was x-rayed, got Ultrasound, bloodworks done but they couldn't confirm anything while I was getting worse and worse. Well - and it was Sunday and the doctors apparently wanted to wait until Monday, so they drugged me and I can't remember that much of that day, just that I couldn't bear being touched at all. In the end my parents forced them to operate me and not wait any longer - which was at 1am. I got heavy medication but wasn't in ICU. But I am not sure if the little hospital I was in even had one of those. I was out of the hospital after 2 weeks but the healing of the scar took more than 2 months. Well, it's been a while, it was 1999, just like Michael Shanks (but I was first).

I had to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks (I insisted they let my go at this point) but my scars (3 in total) healed in a matter of weeks. I felt like I got hit by a truck for about a month though
Well, that's all behind me now. I'm just glad I'm still around You know, feeling a pain that makes you think 'If I don't wake up again, fine with me, just make the pain go away' and knowing afterwards you got through that... makes you appreciate every little thing in life.
