Rewatching Season 6...and I just realized that the guy who plays Samuel Campbell (Dean and Sam's Grandpa) is in the new Dallas show. He also played Col. Caldwell in Stargate: Atlantis.

I've noticed quite a few SG alum showing up in SPN episodes. Dan Shea (Siler) was in a season 1 episode and the season 3 finale I believe. Teryl Rothery was in a season 2 episode, and more recently Michael Shanks himself was in a season 5 ep.
Lots more... I even made a post in my livejournal about the SPN/Stargate connection.
Oh and I don't know if it was mentioned yet, but the guy who played Greer in SG Universe? (his name escapes me at the moment) He had a cameo in the Pilot episode of SPN. He played Sam's friend at the bar who was getting the shots for them.

Hi all. I'm a newbie on this thread. I'm an Amanda Tapping fan and upon discovering she will be joining the show in a major recurring role, I'm going to start watching this show from the beginning. Funnily enough, I became an Amanda Tapping fan because I was a Farscape fan first and found out the two leads on that show were joining season 10 of Stargate SG-1...so I decided to start watching that from the beginning to get caught up. Perhaps I'll find someone new to fall in love with on this show.
I've seen the first two episodes of season 1 so far and I like it. From little bits I've read here and there, I am sure to see lots of familiar faces over the seasons, too. All the Vancouver-shot shows share guest stars, don't they? (I'm also an X-Files and BSG fan. It was fun to start watching Stargate and see so many people I saw on X-Files.)
In any case, I may not stop on here too much since I am brand new and don't usually like to be spoiled. So much to get caught up on! Just wanted to say hello.
