Supernatural : General Discussion/Appreciation (Spoiler Tags req for S15)
The episode reminded me of Torchwood's Countrycide, which was creepy in it's own right.
Although, after sleeping on it, one things bothers me;
Spoiler:
why was there a brother? According to the girls diary there was only a mention of one baby and therefor it doesn't make sense that both of them were locked up by the dad if he only knew about one of them.

Agree on Torchwood
True, it bothered me, too.
Spoiler:
The brother also seemed to be older than her (or was that just me?). So maybe the girl stopped writing? Dunno, doesn't make real sense...

When the girl crossed the salt line I was wondering what/who she actually was.
I loved Dean when he saw the tires to the Impala were gone. 'What kind of a ghost messes with a man's wheels!?'
And I'll admit that it was a pretty good plot twist to have a brother.
It was a good episode, I think that there needs to be an episode with a show like Supernatural to remind us that
Spoiler:
deamon/ghosts/spirits aren't the only creepy things in the world. Humans can be as creepy as things we can't see/believe.
That's why 'The Benders' was such an unsettling episode as well.
I agree....
Spoiler:
The brother was an unexpected addition and it was really clever the way a sense of panic was created when Sam found that their weapons had been taken as well as all the tyres being slashed! It was interesting to see how they adjusted to not having their trusty equipment to hand. Loved the salt line crossing too, really had to try and think what was going on there for a moment! Great stuff!
It was good to have Supernatural back. Had our cable upgraded to digital yesterday and I was worried it wouldn't work properly, as we had trouble with it to start with and I'd miss it! It's the only show I look forward to now.

... 16. SEXIEST SIBLINGS
Dan and Jenny Humphrey (Gossip Girl)
Dean and Sam Winchester (Supernatural)
Derek and Julianne Hough (Dancing With the Stars)
The Walkers (Brothers and Sisters)
Meredith and Lexie Grey (Grey’s Anatomy)
After the long waiting, I am glad to see good, old SN back. And the twist about the girl not being a ghost was great. It´s a nice relief after this angelic stuff, and to see brothers together again. I loved the scene with the closet, how the ball came back, it was creepy.
I feel sorry for Dean but it´s a little annyoing to see how Dean suffered but nobody really cares for Sam. A human being can live a real hell, too, when he loses everybody and can´t do anything about it. So I hope they´ll show us what was happening with Sam during those few months without Ruby. It would be cool to meet some his antagonist from that period.
Anyway, I think Dean is looking for a redemtion and I have a bad feeling that S5 will be a big story about it and how Dean or both brothers die....
I am not sure why but I can´t see a happy ending in SN...even when I can imagine it

I guess I need to re-watch it.
Spoiler:
I thought the diary only mentioned her being pregnant. I thought everybody assumed she was her daughter, and I assumed she had twins. I missed some of it when I ran downstairs to go to the bathroom and lock all of my doors!

that's true, and I've been talking with some of my friends on the subject and we've come to the conclusion that
Spoiler:
she had twins since it only seems logical and that Sam must not have gotten that far in the diary.

Logical assumption.
And ROFL @ locking the doors! My roomie was like 'That god we don't have such walls here in Germany!' (where somebody could hide)

Well,
Spoiler:
I agree with them being twins. However, Sam did say he "just finished reading [her] diary." Which to me implies that he read the whole thing. However, we don't really know how far she wrote and when exactly she died after giving birth. Was it immediately after? I was never quite clear on that. So, maybe she assumed she was only having one child and just thought it was a girl? Hence the use of "daughter." Maybe??
I may need to rewatch it myself to clear up a few things...
