ThatSpeaking of Martok, what nickname did Leskit refer to him as in Soldiers of the Empire? Hint: He said this to Dax. The nickname was most definitely a derogatory term for Martok's condition after his time on Dominion Interment Camp 371.
LOL, Leskit called him the "One Eyed Giant". Great question brother Fuzz. I am putting that one in my "Ringer Questions" notebook for a future Quiz.
Speaking ofLeskit - What did he wear around his neck that creeped out the gang in Quarks bar?
(not to mention myself)
Which restaurant in San Francisco did Phlox really enjoy the egg drop soup?
That would be Madame Chang's in San Francisco's iconic Chinatown.
You know what's funny - brother Fifth Race and I attended a Star Trek convention at the Bill Graham Auditorium in downtown San Francisco a number of years back - where they set up a Madame Chang's Chinese food stand (that actually sold pretty darn good Chinese food) lol And yes, they did have Phlox's favorite "Egg Drop Soup"
According to Phlox - What do Denobulans take "great pleasure" in doing when they are near death?
That was indeed the "Universal Translator, well done.
When have we seen this technology unable to translate?
LOL, great question my friend - I asked almost the exact same question in one of my "All Purpose Star Trek Quizzes" I do the DS9 superior thread...
On VOY they failed to build a UT that could communicate with nucleogenic beings who attacked them
On DS9 the UT failed to initially comprehend the Skrreeans language, but evetually did
On TNG the UT failed to understand the Darmok alien Dathon's "metaphorical language"
From the great TNG episode Darmok... What was the 5-Letter phrase that Dathon kept asking Picard?
