The EMH was only meant as a support tool during medical emergencies. WHEN the ship had full time Medical team. but the medical team were killed when they got trapped in the Delta Quadrant.

And at the time Zimmerman was being slated for making the EMH mark 1 arrogant, and a bit ignorant.

I have a question... Why in the world did they pair Chakotey with 7 of 9?....

oh oh pick me, i know the answer to that one... read it in an interview in an australian star trek magazine...

brannon bragga was dating jeri ryan at the time and robert beltran said to him one day that he bet he wouldnt let chakotay kiss 7 now that he and jeri were dating... so to prove robert wrong he wrote the ep where 7 was exploring her dating skills with chakotay...

i didnt like this pairing at all... it was definately rushed, out of nowhere and just didnt work... i always liked the relationship that janeway and chakotay had, not that i expected them to become a couple...

anyways i LOVE voyager, its my fave of the star trek series... janeway is my fave captain, voyager my fave ship, i even like the theme song for voyager the best... great characters & great stories... oh yeah, and chakotay is hot!

HAHAH... all very good points... If they were to put in extra hologram then the Doctor wouldn't so special plus they don't have the budget for all those extra characters... shame..isn't it?

Voyager will always hold a special spot has the better Star Trek series of them all to me.

I remember watching them late at night, every week. Always wondering if they would ever make it back home.

I think the cast worked great, and they all grew to become a family towards the end of the show. As opposed to some characters in the others shows, like Riker, who felt a little squirrely and out of place at times, the Voyager cast always seemed to work.

The only female captain so far, is the best captain

It's not my fave Trek, DS9 has that honor, but I do like Voyager and I like Janeway as well. It does bug me a bit that no matter how badly damaged the ship was at the end of one episode, it was always completely repaired by the next.

Keep in mind, that not every day on Voyager went day by day.

When we saw an event happen on the ship, the next episode could be days/weeks maybe even a month later in there timeline.

Even so... A constant stream of reputable trading partners, loooong hours of repair work and lots of available baryon sweep stations is kinda unbelievable. We did see the ship in bad condition in a few episodes, but there really felt like there was no real danger in the Delta Quadrant for them.

i re watch endgame last night and i am still wondering if the borg are really deafeated and rerally have any organization left

People complain about all the borg episodes in voyager, but I thought the borg lived in the Delta Quadrant?

It would stand to reason that they would find and encounter more of them then any other series wouldn't it?

Does ds9 have any borg episodes? i haven't seen any yet.

^ yup borg space was in the delta quadrant... we wouldnt have even met them here in the alpha quadrant when we did if it wasnt for Q...


ds9 was more about the gamma quadrant baddies, so they didnt need to use the borg... especially since ds9 and voyager were both on air from '95-'99...
