Those are some good episodes even though I didn't care for Blotod Oath. No Sacrifice of Angels, for shame. I remember when I posted this thread they asked me to list the order of my favorite series and movies, so I ask you to list the order of the Trek series and movies

Welcome to the DS9 superior thread, I'm glad some of our regulars greeted you properly and I appreciate brother jelgate asking for favorite lists (characters, episodes, series, movies ...etc...), this gives everyone an insight to what your likes and dis-likes are on Star Trek in general.

We are an all purpose Star Trek thread with a lean towards DS9. We do not discriminate against anyones idea's or thoughts. We talk about about all scifi and whatever else is going in someone life. Most everyone on this thread are all tight with each other (DS9/Trek fans are simply the greatest!). We are friendly and helpful and we all generally enjoy each other. I hope you become one of the regulars and contribute when you can. On Monday's I run an all purpose Trek Trivia Quiz (occasioanlly Lt. Col. Davis runs one himself). So I hope you join us then and give it a try.

Hi! I'm currently re-watching DS9 and was hoping I could perhaps pop in and squee about what a terrific show it is. This weekend I watched In Purgatory's Shadow and By Inferno's Light...awesome. I haven't watched DS9 since it's original air date , so I felt all over again the shock at all the twists and dramatic reveals. I love this show.

Can I hold off on listing my all-time favorite eps until I've rewatched them all? It will be so hard to choose.

That's great to hear marie, and welcome to the DS9 superior thread. Re-watching a favorite and great show like DS9, after not having seen it years, is always great fun. Like I tell all newbies to this thread, we are basically all purpose DS9/Trek/scifi/television thread. This place is chalk full of brilliant Trek/scifi minds that are true fans.

Can I hold off on listing my all-time favorite eps until I've rewatched them all? It will be so hard to choose.

Most definetly!, I have probably re-watched DS9 in its entirety 15 or more times over the years and I am struggling to choose my favorite episodes from each season (so many to choose from). I like your lists of favorite Trek series' and movies!

My favorite series list goes like this (note: I love them all) ...
1. DS9 - Simply the greatest Trek and scifi show of all time. (IMHO of course)
2. ENT - I didn't care for it originally, but I'm a big fan now.
3. TNG - Used to be my favorite, until I saw the light.
4. VOY - Great premise, decent characters and a handful of great episodes.
5. TOS - Classical and always fun to watch.

My favourite series in order.....
Deep Space Nine - far and away the best
Enterprise - only had four seasons.....and as much as it's beaten on, I think it had the strongest first two seasons of any second gen Trek series and seasons three and four were fantastic- I hate to imagine what season five would have been like.
Next Generation - miserable first few years, got better and better as it went on, but I loooved the re-set button.
Voyager/Original Series - I always alternate these two, lots of great episodes, lots of cringe worthy ones between them. But still fun. I think I'll rank Voyager a little beneath TOS today.
