Her breath caught in her throat at his gaze; his eyes, half-lidded and glazed over, were locked in what could only be a trance of unadulterated passionate desire as they met hers and then roamed unashamedly over her body. A shiver of both delight and unease ran up Helen's spine, making the hairs on the back of her neck prickle.
