Being S1 ended on the spoiler of her dad still being alive, i can say that is a sure bet we will.
As to the Trip being in A2 while none of the others (other than maybe coulson), i was shocked as well. It would be nice to see one or more of the team in the avengers film.Comment

Really excited that Lucy Lawless will be on the show in season 2. I was thinking how unexpected it would be if she was cast as some sort of scientist or computer whiz or doctor, as opposed to a specialist.sigpic

It will be interesting to see who Skye turns out to be, there are many rumors out there.
Many people have speculated she's Jessica Drew, and that theory has it's merits, especially with Marvel re introducing the character with her own comic book run starting in November, but lately the tide has swung more in the direction of an inhuman, with her father being Karnak, or Maximus the Mad, and her being the elemental inhuman named Crystal.
The inhuman angle has more sway because the inhumans are humans that were modified by the Kree (Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy is one), which would explain why she had no adverse reaction to the blood/serum taken from the Kree they had in storage at the guest house.

Some new information came out today that Kyle MacLachlan will play Skye's dad in the upcoming season. His character is called the Doctor.
A quick check at the Marvel wikia category: doctors yielded me Dr. Calvin Zabo aka Mr. Hyde as a possibility, which would make Skye: Daisy Johnson.Comment
