I'd forgotten this - Alpha uses the technology to turn dolls into killers in A Love Supreme. Did he invent it?! I think so. So how did Rossum get their hands on this part of the tech (that leads to Epitaph)?

So Topher invents and assembles the turning-anyone-into-a-doll-mind-wipe tech. This plus Alpha's phone remote wipe and his killer tech = thoughtpocalypse

EDIT: hmmm (still watching LS) might just be remote imprinting. Still, I like to think Alpha was involved. Mostly cos I want him in the plotline!

I got Season 1 of Dollhouse on DVD and I gotta say, I absolutely ADORE this show! I will watch the Season 2 episodes that are left to support the show but for the previous ones I'm going to wait for the DVD.

IMO it's Alpha who seems to be "allmighty" person in this show, I expected him to be the solution for all these issues with Rossum. Or maybe not...he's rather psychopath, a genius one

Omg he is sooo good! Watched Briar Rose today with sis and marvelled at how well he played Dominic. He is just so talented! Hehe would have been funny to see Victor/Tony's love for Priya through Topher (as all Victor's imprints are in love with her)...

Yeah I think Alpha is such an amazing character (not only character wise but plot wise too) who was really under-used this season. I would have loved there to have been a twist in Hollow Men involving Alpha, maybe them needing his help? *sigh*

I forgot to mention this! The biggest thing that bugged me about Hollow Men...

All the way through S2, Echo has been becoming self aware. And then after The Left Hand and during Jane Doe Echo realises that she doesn't like Caroline. And of course there's all that she says in Getting Closer. And there's this big build up to "what's going to happen when Caroline gets dumped in there?" And then...

Nothing happens.

She goes nuts, but only because Boyd drugs her. Then Echo is just like normal, but with Caroline's memories.

Is that what Bennett did? It wasn't very clear - did they only restore her memories rather than the personality because the wedge was so damaged?

Even if that were so, I think that's a missed opportunity. The whole Echo vs Caroline thing could have been awesome, and I for one was looking forward to how it worked out. Would they be at odds? Would they reconcile? Would it turn out that actually Echo was Caroline, just minus the history?

It might be that that was what they were aiming for, but if so they didn't make it clear at all. *sigh*

We missed this part what had happend to Echo after this imprint. Firstly the tension grows and I guess the Boyd issue caused that we didn't focuse on her with Caroline inside her mind anymore. Maybe that would be solved in next episode? Maybe it was caused because on Season cut? If Whedon planned something bigger and interesting with it maybe he was forced to quit it by throwing attention on something else, on the ending itself

Yeah, that's certainly possible. Still, even with the season being ended early, they could have made the last episode much better. And the Boyd thing wasn't handled well either! *sigh*

My the best moment was with Alpha and medicinal carrots:

Alpha: Carrots! Uh, medicinal carrots. Personal use, medicinal carrots that were here when I moved in and I'm holding it for a friend!

but also many with Adelle, especially latest ones, when she's so ironic

Ah yes, that is an awesome quote! Again, Alpha is such a good character... *sigh*

Paul/Mellie was adorable But I loved how Mellie wasn't the typical sweet girl - she turned out to be strong and passionate while being grounded

On another topic... I really think Eliza underplayed the Echo/Caroline potential. Drastically. In fact it's quite painful to watch as an actress! She had the chance to create two leading ladies, both great characters, with the audience wondering which to like best. Despite the script (eg: Jane Doe when Echo argues that she's not Caroline) Eliza didn't make them different enough (in fact all of her characters lack distinction). Maybe she was going for the whole "same person" angle, but if so that was underwritten and wasn't made clear (which is odd seeing as that seemed to be what the whole series was about).

Wow that sounds really nasty! I don't intend to be It's just that sometimes I watch Dichen Lachman (Sierra) or Enver Gjokaj (Victor) and they kinda show Eliza up a bit (because their characters are very different from each other)

I hope all the questions are answered in Epitaph Two! Because it's so painful to watch Firefly knowing that all the little plot seeds will never grow...

After watching a preview.... So in love with Topher in this ep already Although the voiceover did just sound like Topher taking the p*ss out of voiceovers in Haunted... Which kind of ruined the whole doomsday effect!

I have to agree with you, Lili, Eliza is playing Echo the same as Caroline. I remember first Caroline moments, she was the same fighter, has own secrets, see and understand more than we, who are watching (you know what I mean). I have to admit I'm watching from time to time Tru Calling in TV and Eliza is still the same person, comparing to Dollhouse(I mean she didn't change since TC). Although I like her as an actress, she seems quite exotic to me when I saw her first time, she has specific kind of beauty

And Yeah, November kicks a$$ Enver Gjokaj shown us great acting skills, playing crazy Topher
