Well I thought the clothes were the very worst on the film... and the glasses but well it was end of the 80's, when I see pics of my parents in those years I get the giggles as well so

Yay... just rented Donnie Darko and Independence Day. *happy dances* Just waiting for them to deliver the films... I love the internet... sometimes... I want to see Mary smoking in Donnie Darko... right Dorka? lol

Oh man... this is just not fair! All the good stuff is happening at the Federal Supreme Court now and I'm not there!!! *cries* Dammit... I needed to have been working there already... Today there was such a cool meeting of all the Supreme Courts of Portuguese speaking countries... tomorrow and on Friday theres a big meeting of the Supreme Courts of Latin American countries... Exactly the kind of thing that I'd like to see!! And my area... international... *throws tantrum*

Well I just watched the Mary-scenes in Mrs. Harris, and I was like "THIS has to be the worst MM hair ever" in the first scene (when they are sitting on tht e couch explaining something) though quality wasn't very good, but it looked , at least it was better in 2 other scenes

You saw Mrs. Harris?!?! yay! What did you think? Hardly any Mary, right? Dude!!! I had completely forgotten about that one... yeah, the hair there is worse than the miniseries... And, actually, in that picture you posted, it doesn't look bad. And my god is that skirt short!!!

I just watched Donnie Darko... You know, I really liked it. Damn, I may have to buy it now. Mary is great, I wish there was more of her. Oh, and I really don't like the guy that plays her husband... he freaks me out. But here I was thinking I would get to see Mary smoke the whole time, but nooooo... one little scene... pffft. But dude! There's this really long deleted scene in the region 1 DVD... you know, when they're at the hotel, and it shows the couple in their room... and Mary is by the window smoking and they get drunk, and then she chokes because of something the husband says (which *grrr* they cut out, because I don't know, probably some inappropriate comment. though they didn't edit it when she says "f.u.c.k") and he tells her to put out the cigarette and to come to bed "it's time"... I don't know time for what, but since he's messing around with the waistband of his pants, I can only imagine...

And... *snif*... I don't want to get there one day... I want to be there now!!!

EDIT: Okay, so I just have to say this, therefore making this a gigantic post, but... Dude! Duuuude! I just watched Nola. I had no idea how much I would love that movie! Not necessarily the whole thing, but Mary's part. Owner of an escort service. HAH! I'm not a very normal person, let me warn you, so... a while ago I came up with this thing about wanting to own a Paris bordel. A really high class thing. Very exotic, very exuberant, and very classy (if you can imagine). Of course, I don't really intend to do that, but sometimes I get the craziest ideas... Got the whole thing planned out... would take too long to give you all my details here. Anyway, so seeing Mary as that was too cool. I absolutely loved her character. The only thing missing was one of my slim cigarettes. Loved her clothes. That particular white silk blouse with red flowers... damn, I want one! And some of her lines really had me roflmao. Like when she's in court. *lol* And then, "All my life I've girated between a fear of intimacy and fear of abandonment. My comfort zone with people: they're orbiting me at a respectful, preferably worshipful, distance." That is so much like me, it actually scares me. So... loved the movie!

Yep, I think there were only like two deleted scenes with her in them. The one I mentioned was the longest, and I really, really loved it.

Everything about Mary AND her character in Nola were just too great! And I even like that dress you say is weird. I think the men on Galactica would more likely faint if they ever saw her in one of those fabulous nightgowns she wears in the movie.

I don't want to have an escort service! More like a cross between a high class bordel and a Moulin Rouge sort of thing. I'm loving your mother already! She's so right... That is the way to go! I like Mary's hair at the end of season one. The miniseries hair is definetly the worst of the show, but Tiger Warsaw hair is the worst of the worst. *Shudders and blames it on the 80's*
