Even though I am old enough and also qualify for this special treatment via medical conditions that make me more susceptible to CV, I strongly oppose this, just as I oppose preferential treatment for anyone.
The concept of equal treatment demands that no one be given preferential treatment, period. You can't claim to be in favor of equality out of one side of your mouth while giving special treatment to some group out of the other side of perhaps another orifice.
