That might produce a gas cloud, but no more than your typical chemical plant accident. If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions.- Abba Eban.

No bras at school today, Bradenton student urges for protest
A Florida high school student who triggered an international discussion on whether women should have to wear bras is mobilizing girls to go braless to protest dress codes she says are unfairly strict for girls.
The Bradenton Herald reports Lizzy Martinez' "Bracott" will take place at Braden River High on Monday, according to Twitter posts from her account. Martinez is encouraging her female classmates to arrive to school braless to send a message to school administrators that requiring the undergarment is sexist.
On April 2, Martinez didn't wear a bra and said school administrators told her to cover her nipples because they were distracting her classmates. The dress code doesn't specifically address bras.
A district spokesman declined to comment. It isn't clear how the district will respond if several students participate in the protest.

Oh, and for the record, she did not "try to go bra'less", she got in crap because she had nipples, and argued that it was crap when she had to tape her nipples down because they were "distracting the boys"

Originally posted by Womble View PostSarin gas has a very poor shelf life (weeks to months), which is why it is usually deployed as a binary weapon. It is stored as precursor agents (great care is taken to prevent them from mixing accidentally), then loaded into weapons such as artillery shells where the chemicals mix inside as the shell spins in flight, producing the actual gas. Blowing up a facility producing sarin gas or storage facility for precursor agents is not very likely to result in a gas cloud.
Assad's other weapon of choice (with quite poor lethality as chemical weapons usually go) is chlorine gas. That might produce a gas cloud, but no more than your typical chemical plant accident.
Sarin gas
Spoiler:Immediate signs and symptoms of sarin exposure
People may not know that they were exposed because sarin has no odor.
People exposed to a low or moderate dose of sarin by breathing contaminated air, eating contaminated food, drinking contaminated water, or touching contaminated surfaces may experience some or all of the following symptoms within seconds to hours of exposure:
Runny nose, watery eyes, small - pinpoint pupils, eye pain, blurred vision, drooling and excessive sweating, cough, chest tightness, rapid breathing, diarrhea, nausea - vomiting and/or abdominal pain, increased urination, confusion, drowsiness, weakness, headache, slow or fast heart rate, low or high blood pressure.
Even a small drop of sarin on the skin can cause sweating and muscle twitching where sarin touched the skin.
Exposure to large doses of sarin by any route may result in the following harmful health effects: loss of consciousness, convulsions, paralysis, respiratory failure possibly leading to death.
Showing these signs and symptoms does not necessarily mean that a person has been exposed to sarin.
What the long-term health effects are
Mildly exposed people usually recover completely. Severely exposed people are less likely to survive.
Chlorine gas
Spoiler:Immediate signs and symptoms of chlorine exposure
During or immediately after exposure to dangerous concentrations of chlorine, the following signs and symptoms may develop: blurred vision, burning pain, redness and blisters on the skin if exposed to gas (skin injuries similar to frostbite can occur if it is exposed to liquid chlorine), burning sensation in the nose - throat and eyes, coughing, chest tightness, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath (these may appear immediately if high concentrations of chlorine gas are inhaled, or they may be delayed if low concentrations of chlorine gas are inhaled), fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema) that may be delayed for a few hours, nausea and vomiting, watery eyes, wheezing.
Showing these signs or symptoms does not necessarily mean that a person has been exposed to chlorine.
What the long-term health effects are
Long-term complications may occur after breathing in high concentrations of chlorine. Complications are more likely to be seen in people who develop severe health problems such as fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema) following the initial exposure.
