I've been wondering about that for a long time, but I hear the leftist have a term for it- intersectionality.

Basically, all causes advanced and/or endorsed by the left are not their own causes but rather tools employed to advance a single cause - that cause being, in the short term, instituting and maintaining a permanent hold of the left on political power (and in the long term, ever-greater atomization of the society until creation of a perfectly obedient, supra-national, collectivist, egalitarian, top-down managed human equivalent of an ant colony).

Pretty much. They consider themselves to be fellow travelers going down the same road. And no matter which side of the fence you're on, you have to admit they cooperate and coordinate with themselves better than the elements of the "right" do.

Budget boss Mulvaney claims Obama had 'secret list' of proposed regulations

At a news briefing this week, White House budget director Mick Mulvaney continued to push the Trump administration’s goal of cutting back on Obama-era regulations.

On Thursday, Mulvaney unveiled a “secret list” of proposed federal rules that he said the Obama administration had been hoping to implement.

“They had a bunch of things that they wanted to regulate. And what we’re hearing is that they just didn’t want to tell you about it,” said Mulvaney, director of the Office of Management and Budget. “They thought it would be bad for their reelection prospects in 2012, so they created a secret list of regs that were not disclosed to you folks, and we are disclosing it.”

Funny, they don't seem to actually cite a list, though. Although there is a link to a news conference where he goes on about the administration's deregulation activities.

Geez, guys, if you're gonna use this to try to draw attention away from the investigation(s) going on, you could at least put some meat on the plate.

First, there is no contradiction if you actually think about it. A true, sustainable egalitarian society is only achievable by constantly suppressing individual desires and ambition, therefore a true, sustainable egalitarian society is necessarily an oppressive one. Karl Marx knew that, which is why the Communist Manifesto is a recipe for an oppressive regime.

Second, the alt-right takes to the other extreme - they want personal ambition unbridled by regulation. That has its own set of disaster recipes, but a different one from the left-wing recipe.

Michigan law dictates that anyone who wishes to be a foster parent must register any guns with the state along with keeping the guns unloaded and locked in a safe separate from the ammunition.

Which he refused.
