Probably the same universe that think drinking bleech will cure you of cancer or shouting and punching an autistic kid will cure them of Autism.

My sons old school was in this universe, we told them don't shout at him, talk to him and he'll then do what you want, shouting will only make him run away, they told us (and his old school) that we didn't know what we were talking about and to butt out, shouting was a form of discipline and he'd learn the hard way if he didn't do as he was told.

After the third time of him climbing over the gates to get home, they listened and stopped shouting at him... Never did he walk out a lesson again.

There's always someone that knows best.

That's pretty bad. The worst thing a teacher ever did to me was pull me by the hair, that was in grade 4.
