And Dallas Police Chief David Brown said Johnson, killed by officers in a standoff, “wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.”

However, the Justice Department’s definition of a hate crime is limited to bigotry, violence or intimidation based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability, despite the police group trying to get attacks on police officers addded to the list.

Clearly, by the justice department's own definition, this qualifies as a hate crime against whites.

Anyone willing to bet that the LSoS's justice dept. will investigate it as such?

Then you are wrong. Racism is the discrimination of a person or group based on the color of their skin. So yes it can happen. I will grant you its not common but it does happen.

Heck, what of the other incidents, such as the thug in Georgia who made a fake call to 911, to lure a cop so he could kill one, and so on.. Are THOSE also going to be treated as hate crimes??
Doubt it, as to the administration blacks can't be racist, only whites.
