There's been some confusion about HB2. It's not just a bathroom bill. HB2 essentially does three things:

1. It mandates people use a bathroom corresponding to their biological sex in public buildings, places, and schools.
2. It bans local governments from raising the minimum wage.
3. It bans discrimination lawsuits in state court.

I have no idea what points 2 & 3 are besides being political bargaining chips in a deal to get the law passed.
