In fact, that's one of the things the urban school districts are always complaining about; they can't tax the people in the surrounding suburbs and they can't get blood from a stone (the people who live in the urban areas)

What it looks like to me Annoyed, is that you're getting screwed on both sides. Only the left rather give the money to folks who need it instead of paying a tribute to Jabba the 1%.
If someone earns a lot of money, ( inherits, whatever) be it a business or a person, why do you hold a grudge against him? As long as he obtained it legally, why isn't he entitled to the fruits of his labor or good fortune, which ever it is?

It sounds to be as if you're just jealous, and you want the govt. to confiscate that which is rightfully his to give it out to other people, one way or another.

Canadian Maple bacon is an option for us, but I appreciate cooking style.

I have nothing against rich people in general, they got rich, on their OWN (or small loans of 1M$), they do NOT need the Godvt support to get even richer. But... how did they get rich?

You have two dollars in your pocket and you must give them out. (you can't keep the $$ bc I know you would (lol))

            A) You give it to the guy in a Mercedez, which he will probably throw out the window since he doesn't want to keep dirty nasty coins in his car
            B) You give it to the low income guy which 2$ can go a long way for him, even if its just for buying a soda for his child or something.

Lords (rich ppl) pay fealty to the King (Govt) in tributes of gold and silver (taxes). The Lords get their gold off the peasants (us). They collect money out of the people of this country, the you, the me and every consumers that buy their products. Without us, they wouldn't be rich in the first place.

It's only fair the King gives the scraps back to the peasants. The King and the Lords will remain rich all-the-same.

I don’t want to be human. I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can’t even express these things properly, because I have to—I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid, limiting spoken language, but I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more.

Annoyed lacks experience, I pointed that out earlier.
Quite simply, he is a 70 odd year old ignorant person who want's to claim experience.

Somehow, I think I've heard that before.

The lords get their money from the peasants because the peasants want something the lords have. No one says the peasant has to give the lords the money. They can do without whatever it is, or produce their own

And another question for the both of you.

Unless you advocate a socialist/communist system, what ever would make you think that any person has any kind of right or claim to the fruits of another person's labor or good fortune?

Haven't you noticed the recurring theme of the current progressive push in this country? "I demand to be given this that or the other thing". Student loans forgiven, Free health care, free this that or the other thing.

That's just theft by way of the govt., plain and simple.

You craft your own electronics, phones, foods and such? You craft your medicine? Everybody should be homesteading?

Nope. But If I want such things, I need to be able to buy them. If I want to eat, I know I have to buy food.

5 days a week, I have to go to a job that I hate, every minute of every day. But I have to do it if I want to eat, have shelter, toys, and such.

What makes anyone else think that I should give up my earnings so that they don't have to do these things?

First world problem mate. Poor guy he's got a job but he doesn't like it!

Well guess what mate, some folks would kill to have that job of yours, which might, perhaps, maybe, explain why so many refugees are showing at your doorsteps... bc there's nothing for them down there.

Ultimately, all your argumentsrents revolve back to the same ol' point. You just don't give a sheite.
