I celebrate Thanksgiving but have never even attempted to cook a turkey. Either family has done it, I've been invited out, or went to a restaurant. I am not a cook....so turkey would be ridiculous for me to even attempt! ROFL at the idea

Indeed, especially if you don't know/see the person that often. You don't have to worry about getting something the person doesn't like and they don't have to worry about returning it if they don't like it.

Usually early on Christmas Eve. I live in Finland and as in most of Scandinavia and the Lutheran parts of Germany, we open our presents on Christmas Eve.
