I don't know who else has heard of these, they are another maligned, if not out right ignored meaty treat, they are called Vienna sausages, they are like hot dogs, but with a softer texture, but a similar flavor, note I said SIMILAR, they aren't as good as spam, but when cooked, they have their own flavor.



A Vienna sausage is a kind of sausage. The word Wiener means Viennese in German; in Austria the term Wiener is uncommon for this food item, as it identifies a type of cold cut.
