I went back and compared the first attempt with the second. There does seem to be less of a shuffling motion in the second - a cleaner stride.

Video 12: Barbot Walk Cycle Experiments

For one scene in the Barbot Adventures animation the Barbot needs to be able to walk up to the Skydiverbot.. So I first had to rebuild his legs... and then learn how to make him walk.. It took a few days but I think I've got it

Ukkobot.
Perhaps the body in sapphire blue and the red bits in ocean blue. Colours. Keep the yellow circle and symbol. Maybe add this little figure into the circle.

I have to agree about changing the red to another shade of blue. The red makes it look like some sort of Superman or something. I like the lightening bolt symbol.

Indeed.. I wasnt happy with the red but it's what Ukko asked for

I'm animating the Ukkobot now.. so far he's been thrown up in the air a couple of times and rolled around the room... and is now trying to get the right way up again so he can transform to robot form..
