                Um, I meant to say BetaMax, sorry. BetaMax was videotape's predecessor. And I was little when 8-track tapes were all the rage.

                        *slips in* Erm. Sorry to interrupt. Is anyone using Gimp 2.8? My brushes aren't showing up (Nooooooooooo!) Suggestions?

                          can you keep them in a separate folder and then just load them as needed? that's what I do in PS - I have a brush folder in my art supplies and just access it when I want to load a brush.

                            sweet wp yami! meant to comment on your phil coulson wp too, but i got distracted.... watched iron man yesterday, the first one.... i'd forgotten how much phil was in that movie... everytime he showed up i was like "phil! have you met phil? phil's a great man!" to whomever happened to have wondered into the room at the time

                              Well, I just downloaded the 2.8 version. The brushes are all in the "brushes" folder where they belong, but they don't show up in the program. I tried restarting Gimp and it still just has default brushes (*weep*)

                                try this: when you go to "load brushes" - take the round-about way to do it - search through your C: drive, programs, etc... it may need the path re-established
