Nice to see you, Luci, even for a quick visit.
Haven't had any time or motivation to make artsies.

That might just be the answer to my problem with the .png files. What colour is it that you used??

Lovely work everyone
Just took a screencap of GW and then pasted it into Gimp as a layer and used the Color Picker tool to grab it's color. I assume it is the same for everyone... but if it doesn't match perfectly you can always do what I did to get the color.sigpic~*~ My Art and Written Creations ~*~

Lets see if this works
Here are the 2 full size 'pop-out' sigs I've done using Bay's idea of colouring the background

Tut for this sig...
Spoiler:1.Get your screencap and place in a 600 x 180 pixel (or whatever size you use!) document. I’ve used some Castle screencaps from here
2.Sharpen your background image
3.Add a new Curves layer with 2 points. Top point Output=211 Input=170 and bottom point Output=78 Input=71
4.Add a Selective Colouring layer:
Reds C= -31, M=0, Y=0, K=0
Yellows C= -100, M=0, Y= -27, K=0
Neutrals C= -15, M=0, Y=0, K=6
Blacks C=21, M=0, Y= -24, K=0
5.Add a Colour Balance layer:
Shadows C=7, M=0, Y=10
Highlights C=12, M=0, Y=16
6.Add a Colour Fill Layer #e6a9a9 and set to Soft Light
7.Add your text, the font I've used is called Pea Alexis. I just picked colours from the background using the Eyedropper tool (Shortcut 'I' in PS) - contrasting colours for the 'always' and the 'x'
8.Then add this texture and set to Lighten – done!
