I especially want to try that tut of DutchIndeed's. Maybe tomorrow.

Speaking of tuts, I decided I needed to work on something a bit calmer in color after spending all day with my niece and nephew. Love them dearly, but they're 2 and 6 months. I'm not used to that! So, I called up this tut on Shadowplay and went to work. The text took forever to figure out, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

      Great use of Shakespeare!

      Thanks for the advice.

What loserinc said Plus two other things:

      1. Colouring helps - adjust the colouring of either the background or your images on top to match each other better, which makes the images stand out less. Also adding colour layers on top or other things like that, can just help to give the whole thing a more unified look

      2. Practice! I know that's not helpful, but I think it really is true!

Thanks for the advice, Josi. I'll have to try it later. I didn't have time to finish it for the challenge.

Just spent the better part of the day with this tut again. Had a lot of nothing to do, so it was fun to try to get my own artwork brighter but still keep it so it wasn't totally distracting to me when I write and work on the computer. Finally came up with a set I quite like.

                                Thanks.

I used Callie Hand for "Jackson." And Architect's Daughter for "Daniel."
