Brilliant, the font works very well and I like the colour in the eyes being in the text also.

It's an incredible colour, I love how it shines in the eyes.

I used 007 Eagle Eye from dafont.com for my 00Carson siggie. The beige in the sig, though, was already in the pic. I just did a quick color select in Gimp and used that for the drop shadow behind the 00Carson words.

then I made it b/w, added a colored layer over it and believe the 'mode' was either screen or soft light... sorry I forget. I believe I also adjusted the constrast and curve the texture too.

Oh that's awesome RIG!! Can I try to do that idea for another art?? How did you get the color clear?? I have GIMP as well.

I don't know what others do, but I can tell you what I did to enhance the eye color in this siggie.....

Spoiler:

First, I positioned and erased the part of the pic I wanted. Then, down at the bottom of the work area for the siggie, I zoomed in to 400%. I set my paintbrush mode to Soft Light, set the brush size to Fuzzy Brush and whatever size I needed for the area I worked on. Then, I just used the paintbrush with a color blue over the colored area of his eyes. It might be different for the b&w look, though I use the same exact method for color splash.

Ok, I just caught up on pages (about 15 or more) of gorgeous artwork, so I'm not about to MQ all of it. Just know that you guys are all very talented.

I loved the Sharp Dressed Man challenge. It's a shame I missed it. Maybe I can give it a late go if something strikes me. But for now, I know what I'm going to do for this week's challenge. *grins*

Okay, I downloaded the 007 font but can't figure out how you got the oval over the "C" in "Carson". On dafont.com Idon't see the oval by itself in the grid showing all the letters...GAH!

Okay, the text I typed in for the 00Carson is as follows. Change it for whatever you'd like to do. 00*+Carson. The * makes the little gun, and the + makes the oval over the C. And whatever letter you put next to the + will appear inside the C.

Looking forward to your take on the 007 theme that seems to have become so popular. (I've already seen two 007 Sheppard/Flanigan siggies pop up. )

I had two layers of same pic. bottom layer b/w and other layer color. I erased everything but the eyes, played with the colors and then used the smudge tool to make in it look more like one color. Will have to remember Ladygris' tut for the future though.

I forgot to mention this before, about the "shiney eyes". It helps to have a really good picture of the eyes. The one I had was amazing. HQ/HD, the works.
