So another go at the challenge...

I wasn't sure if these sigs would work for the challenge....they are B&W with just one color....and just one pic just flipped and sized. Made three different versions because I wasn't sure what 'counted'

      Spoiler:

Those are wonderful, Copter. Love the first two especially.

thanks bailey. I am having serious issues with trying to make the eye color stand out. I think with this pic it was so hard because there was a light flare in the eye, and coloring that made it look off, and not coloring it made it look off also So I gave up. I think maybe a better pic of the eye might help me some.

@IcarusAbides: Love the (Sharp Dressed) Bobby sig! So happy he got some love here.

@Shaviva: That eye color tut...do you still know where it is?

@Anyone who can help: If not, can someone help me with enhancing eye color with Gimp?

            Oh yay!

            Thank you.

            OMG! Amazing! And...MW!!!

            Ooooh, great job! Very nice!

            Love it Jumble!

            *gasps* Really? Lucky duck!
Thank you! He is such an easy subject.

            Spoiler:
First, I positioned and erased the part of the pic I wanted. Then, down at the bottom of the work area for the siggie, I zoomed in to 400%. I set my paintbrush mode to Soft Light, set the brush size to Fuzzy Brush and whatever size I needed for the area I worked on. Then, I just used the paintbrush with a color blue over the colored area of his eyes. It might be different for the b&w look, though I use the same exact method for color splash.

Hope that helps and makes sense. If not, PM me.
That's what I do, just a very slight different order.

Thanks, I'm really happy with it and I'm going to make a sig along the same lines to go with it.

Also I really liked your Neil Caffrey sig, the eyes are brilliant.

I am definitely going to make a crowley sharp dressed demon sig but I would also love to see your take on it

Perfect... the coloring really helps punctuate.

                      And thanks everyone.

Anyone know how to download a texture to Gimp? Or, are textures only for PS?

Download and extract the texture if it needs extracting.

                          Place them in GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\patterns

They should be there in patterns next time you open gimp.

Thank you. Wasn't sure where it went, if patterns was the right place. Now I know. Oh, and I don't have to re-open Gimp for the textures to show up...I just click the refresh button and VOILA!

...I used that snazzy Sketch Block font that *someone* linked to. Sorry, can't remember who now.
