Another entry from me. I used this tut by Bay. Not the first time I used it, but my husband had to wipe the hard drive on his computer and re-install the operating system. He asked for a new wallie for the movie "American Outlaws." Here's what I came up with:

Thanks, mane and Bay. When it comes to westerns, "American Outlaws" is my favorite. John Wayne's "Chisholm" runs a close second, but I love the off hand humor in "American Outlaws."sigpic

LG, I really like your Outlaw wallie too.

Okay, final entries into the tut week. (I think!)
I used josi's tut for both of these. The first one, I followed the tut pretty closely save for a couple of steps that didn't quite translate to Gimp. The second one, I did my own coloring though it's the exact same composition.
Again, using stock models here and song lyrics from Selah's "Hope of the Broken World."

Thanks, Jumble.
And I think you're right. The filmstrip really brings out the grainy texture and film quality. I actually like that one more with the filmstrip.
Forgot to add: I added the shoulder to the dress. The original pic had just the wrap that went under her arm, and I thought it looked more elegant with the drape over the shoulder.sigpic
