Thank you. The reason I asked is tutorial week: I would like to get a better idea what features everyone has. It's frustrating when half the people can't follow.

I think a lot of what is done in PS can be done in Gimp, just might be a bit different in name or in steps.

I'd be happy to look up other features, tools anytime you want, Jaded. Maybe I'd learn something else too.

Yeah I have that idea too: even the "famous selective colouring thingy" can be imitated messing with channel mixer, etc. It's just not that straightforward. I considered GIMP before Photoshop but then I got this free copy. I thought of getting GIMP as well but my laptop is already going nuts with all the updates and glitches.I don't think it would handle two graphics software without exploding.
I'll nag you again soon.
