Thanks! I have something called G'MIC, a Gimp plug-in, for my desktop's Gimp and it has all these cool effects. I think that one is called Graphic Novel or Graphic Boost...something like that.

Sadly, when I tried downloading it for my laptop's Gimp it didn't work. Apparently my brand new computer doesn't have the necessary program in order for it to be compatible, but my old desktop does. That is just weird!

So this was the result I got from Bailey's Tut with a mock texture. It has to be in thumb due to size.

I kept trying to reajust the central pic to the same level of brightness/contrast and sharpness of the others but the more I adjusted, the worse it got and I eventually gave up.

Oh, and I inverted the blue part to get some sort of symmetry. I guess it depends on the base pics you're using.

Thanks; I just drew a little because I was bored and somehow it ended up to be this...if you believe it or not; I never really plan on doing something specific when I start working on graphics

I believe you. When I start my sigs I have one idea in mind and I end up with something quite different.
