Yes he is alright, he was inside and the window was open, so there was a screen between him and the creature. I heard what I thought was voices, which is weird 'cause I live in the middle of nowhere. So I go downstairs to see what is going on when the yowling started. Ran and grabbed the car and yelling out the window trying to scare whatever is out there away, shut window, and than turn on light and look out. It was a raccoon we think. Kitteh did not like the creature. It was very scary.

Well they are wild animals and have claws. So in that way they are scary and house cat against wild animal is bad. Racoons when not on one's porch looking in the window at the cat are very cute.
It was kind of cute. right after the incident I was holding him and starting walking up the stairs with him and the stair window was open (it is higher up) and hissed. Poor kitteh was not a fan of the creature. I just set him down and let him patrol.
