And Trump is walking, talking big business.
The Democrats are constantly trying to expand the nanny-welfare state. They are all too happy to take money away from those who earn their livings in order to hand it to those who don't. What makes it all the worse is the beneficiaries of this aren't even the people they purport to want to help. Endless welfare just encourages dependence upon the government, which certainly doesn't help those down on their luck. But it does create need for a lot of mid-level government functionaries and bureaucrats who can be counted on to vote Democratic to continue the free ride and therefore their own flow of cash from their government jobs, which typically are compensated far better than the same level of job in the private sector.

They abhor the concept of personal responsibility for one's actions.

In my eyes, Abortion is murder. That ought to cover that topic.

They are strongly supportive of efforts to limit gun ownership by private citizens.

I could go on, but suffice to say they have stances on many issues which are intolerable to me.

Regarding Trump, yes, there are risks here. The situation draws easy comparison to certain worn-down European nation who fell under the spell of another charismatic orator in the 1920's.. we all know what happened there. Is this a repeat of that situation? Hopefully not, but it is possible.

But at this time, he's the best choice on the menu.

And in South Dakota you're double screwed as a Transgender or genderfluid kid if their latest bill will pass.

And everywhere else too -- just recently two suicides approximately two weeks apart over here. Teens being bullied.

Hmmm, I would re-phrase that to 'Most Scots wish to remain IN the EU'.

The UK will break up eventually anyway, but if Scotland votes to remain, and England, Wales and Northern Ireland vote to leave, it will just speed up the end of the UK.

I've heard of anti-bullying programs here in the states where just one student peacefully disagreeing with another student could be counted as "bullying"

and other "zero-tolerance" initiatives here in the USA that seek to turn kids into sniveling victims by making it a wrong thing for them to stand up for themselves and knock a bully's teeth down his throat...basically making it into this big evil thing to use force in order to defend yourself

if these anti-bullying programs are really and truly anti-bullying programs then I would say this person is probably just blowing smoke out his a$$ and likely thoroughly enjoying the smell

You should google Cori Bernadi quotes there's some real whoppers out there and to think there's people that actually voted for this clown.

We don't have a "bill of rights", because when we became a commonwealth, no one could agree on what rights should be "inalienable", so there is a reason for it. Redress of grievance it dealt with via the courts, not individual vigilantism.
Remember dude, we are -not- a republic, we have a different system of governance to the US. Weather it is worse or better is up for personal interpretation.

Australia have a bill of rights you have to be kidding.

The current lot of politicians would be offended by such an affront to their ivory castle rule.

The program was requested by the teachers FH, more to train them on how to deal with a situation they may never have dealt with before. I know there is a kid at Mrs GF's school who is transitioning, and that's the kind of thing the program is supposed to be aimed at.
It's not nationwide at this stage.
My confusion earlier was over what the article Co-co linked was raving about as it seemed rather disjointed.

                        Oh... sorry... Of course not...

I went to a small school where everyone knew everyone so bullying wasn't an issue -- it was simply not done. There were approx. 200 of us highschool kids, and even less in primary school.

Carson and Kasich should take the hint and throw in the towel while they still can make a dignified exit.

So should Cruz and Rubio. It looks like Trump is unstoppable. He's not eeking out victories by small margins, either. He's pulling their pants down and spanking them like disobedient children.

I'm really very surprised that Trump is showing as strongly as he is. There seems to be a very large number of people who are pissed as hell at the status quo in the Republican party.

With the weak candidates the Dems are going to put up; neither Col. Sanders nor Hillary is a really strong contender, this wave of anger might make for a win in November, too.

LOL if Trump makes it to Nominee, the Dems take the house...

And if they don't, I'm going to enjoy watching the US of A crumble into nothingness, and witness the rise of China and Russia.

I honestly don't think the Dems are going to win this time around.
Col. Sanders is a self described socialist, and I don't think the electorate at large will vote for that, and Hillary's email scandal is going to hang around her neck until she is dead, dead, dead.

                                Now, this I didn't expect....
                                http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016...hispanics.html

Hispanic voters solidly backed Donald Trump in Tuesday night's Nevada Republican caucuses, according to Fox News entrance polls.

Despite Trump's hardline stance on immigration, especially illegal immigration, the entrance polls found that the billionaire real estate developer was supported by 45 percent of Hispanic voters. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was backed by 28 percent of Hispanic voters, while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz garnered 18 percent of the Hispanic vote.
                                That is a shocker.
Maybe the Democrats ought to just sit this one out?
