Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

A couple of Laurel & Hardy shorts: County Hospital (1932), and Brats (1930), both easy 10/10.

Good golly JJ is obsessed with his silly cloverfield monster isn't he?

Will this make sense or be a random jumble of stuff like lost?

                                Early Man (2018), 10/10.

Wonderfully daft claymation film from Aardman.

A tribe of Stone Age cavemen live happily in their valley until a Bronze Age army shows up wanting to turn the valley into a mine.
It's a fight to the finish - on the football pitch!

If "Chicken Run" was a pastiche of "The Great Escape" and WWII PoW movies, and "Curse of the Were-Rabbit" paid tribute to Universal Monster movies and Hammer Horror films, then this is a loving mickey take on cavemen movies and sports movies - sort of "One Million Years B.C." meets "Escape to Victory".
