you're talking a city that NEVER gets snow. It literally shut the city down for a weekend. We have zero snow clearing equipment. We do have sand spreaders for the icing that we get.

Now, I adore the winters in San Antonio - if I have to wear more than a jacket it's rare. But summers? Ugh. Day after day after day of 100 plus degree heat

oh, the snow wasn't the kind of ice storms we get every other winter or so. turns the roads into hockey rinks - lots and lots of black ice.

I hate Ice on the pavement/sidewalk.

I slipped on some Ice a few years ago and bruised my back. I had to take 3 weeks off work..

Dodge car is not my favorite sport. It takes defensive driving to a new level. I love the entertainment of their crashes, but not when they want to take my car along with them.
