Wearing one contact is called monovision. I guess in the olden days that's why people had monocles (I just made that up, but it makes sense to me! ) I would ask your Dr. about this. I've been doing it for a while on my optometrist's recommendation.

Anyway, I'm mildly near-sighted and both my eyes have the same prescription, except one is slightly stronger than the other. I can read without glasses at home. But if I go out, I wear one contact in the weaker eye for distance and read with the other eye.

Ok reread it and I understand! I thought when I read it so quickly, looking for that picture of Jack somewhere but not finding one, that it said "if all else fails wack it with this:" and then the picture was posted. So I thought she was talking about two tools...really, I did. Maybe I've thunked too hard this weekend. It's been a very long time since I've had this much thunking time. Yes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
